What we saw from Apple is their belief and full support of a movement towards an omni-channel world, both for consumers and the enterprise. From being able to start your phone call on your cell phone and then continue or finish it on your MacBook, or rather leverage your MacBook as your speakerphone. Apple is clearly looking to fulfill the global demand for omni-channel products and solutions. In one way, what they are doing is similar to what Amazon has done in letting you start your purchase on your mobile device and then finish on your desktop, laptop. They have introduced the "Omni-channel Self".
It's not just about shopping, or productivity or entertainment. Apple is now connecting you to your health, home and family on a real-time basis. Meanwhile, they are setting up a platform for you to benefit from a wearable device. Apple is creating a platform that unifies health, home and family in one device, one manufacturer and one self.
