The Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) enabled timepiece was developed, assembled, finished, and tested entirely in Switzerland. That includes the production of movement ebauches (blanks) in the workshops of Breitling Chronometrie, which may have had something to do with the high price. The B55 can receive SMS and WhatsApp messages, incoming phone calls, and make calendar appointments.
