Days away from the rumored formal release of the next-generation iPhone, two videos emerge apparently showing prototypes. The new phone is taller and slightly slimmer than an iPhone 4S and one video shows the new iPhone dock clearly.

It's still officially rumor, but we're just days away from the release of the next-generation iPhone. Now two videos of prototypes have emerged on the Internet.

The videos, from GSM Israel and user chrisbrownie91 on YouTube, probably don't show anything significant about the new iPhone that we haven't heard in earlier reports, but they do show a clearer view of it. First the GSM Israel video:

The GSM Israel video is in Hebrew, but according the Google Translate version of the web page they got access to the phone at the recent IFA 2012 consumer electronics show in Berlin via the CEO of a large carrier. They say it's not an actual iPhone 5, but based on the final design of the real device.

The second video from chrisbrownie91 is longer and in English.

chrisbrownie91 doesn't say where he got the phone, but it looks basically like all the other iPhone 5 prototypes we've seen before.
