Microsoft To Open Fifth Avenue Store?

Microsoft wants to open a store on NYC's Fifth Avenue, says report -- just weeks after CEO Satya Nadella said retail stores are a "supporting" part of his strategy.

$3500 per square foot
If Microsoft wants to imitate what Apple has on the 5th Ave, which I believe it's a 10,000 square-foot space just for display. they will be paying $35 millions just for rent. Crazy, ah?
If I recalled correctly, Microsoft opened a retail store here in Portland last year or at the beginning of 2014.
I almost got hired, but I decided not to go. I should have, but retail is not really my thing,
