Samsung Bendable Smartphones May Come In 2017

Samsung is preparing two smartphones with bendable displays for early 2017, according to a new report in Bloomberg. The company is hoping to create new technology to spur smartphone sales.

Variable size screen
This is something I've wanted in a phone for a long time. There's times when larger devices are in my pocket that it's just annoying, but when you get them out to watch something they're great. 

Being able to convert it from a small to near-tablet sized screen would be a really nice feature.

I would imagine flexible displays will make the handsets a little more durable to fall damage too.
