I would actually be going from the Note 2, which still has the removable battery. I have NEVER used the pen, so no loss there, and the screen size has gotten tiresome to lug around. That said, I am still on the fence.

Im[act of price cut
I am still unsure whether the price cut will have a strong impact on sales. S6 was highly priced and only a selected few models came close to it in that price band. Even after a reduction in price, it does not become a whole lot cheaper and would still be much more expensive than other Android phones. Apart from iPhone 6, no other phone comes close to it in terms of the price. Consumers who couldnt buy S6 earlier on will still be unable to because the price band is still very high that it resides in.

@progman2000: I don't think it's a good idea to upgrade from Note (I'm assuming Note 3) to Samsung S6. I think Note has an overall different appeal with it's screen size and the pen which also serves as a tablet plus a phone.
