re: Why Google's Nexus Plan Makes Sense
I am guessing Carriers won't be overly happy with this plan as it put devices on their networks that don't have bloatware and tracking software installed. This move MAY give Windows Phone a bit of a leg up as if Microsoft rolls over and lets Carriers dictate things, the Carriers may decide they will push Windows Phone a bit harder. Ultimately, it boils down to the Customers and what they want. Seems to me that the overall move should be good for Android and phone users as they will get a more streamlined and consolidated OS that will reduce "fragmentation" and allow OS updates to move forward more quickly. Time will tell.
