Mozilla Releases Firefox 3 Beta 3 For Testing

Open-source browser Firefox 3 is one step closer to completion, with Mozilla placing the third beta in the hands of Web developers and testers.Firefox 3 Beta 3, released on Tuesday, was built on the new Gecko 1.9 Web rendering platform to boost security, ease of use and personalization, according to the company. Among the 1,300 enhancements Mozilla says to have made since its December Beta 2 version are an improved download manager, one-click bookmarking, offline application support, faster page rendering and new progress on plugging the browser's noted "memory leaks."
