Oblix Inc. this week will release an enhanced version of its directory-based software, which lets companies build digital profiles of their employees.
Corporate Service Automation Solution 3.5, which is being unveiled at BrainShare in Salt Lake City, includes new search and search-filter features, and supports back-end applications from Baan, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Remedy, and SAP. It is also more scalable, supporting hundreds of thousands of users, rather than the current limit of about 50,000.
Oblix this week also will provide a preview of version 3.6, expected to ship at the end of the second quarter. That version will support Novell's Novell Directory Services 8 and replication across distributed servers.
