Most recently executive editor at EnterpriseEfficiency.com, Curt Franklin is now executive producer for radio at InformationWeek, Dark Reading, and Network Computing.
Curt has been a journalist covering the computer industry since 1985, when he started his career as a the Heath/Zenith columnist for Computer Shopper. In 1986 he joined BYTE magazine as the liason between the print version and the online BYTE Information eXchange (BIX). He became senior testing editor and was the founder of the BYTE Testing Lab before leavin to become editor in chief of Circuit Cellar INK.
Since then, Curt has worked as an editor and freelance writer for a wide variety of publications including VARBusiness, ComputerWorld, NetworkWorld, ITWorld, InternetWeek, Network Computing, and InfoWorld. He's the co-author of several books and a frequent speaker at industry events.
In addition to his professional work Curt is an amateur radio operator (KG4GWA), a Florida Master Naturalist, a master-certified Scuba diver, a musician, a heavy reader, and a passable cook. He enjoys spending time exploring Florida's springs, forests, swamps, and coast.
