re: Software Review: SAP's BusinessOne
You are kidding, right? SAP B1 replace Quickbooks? The notion is laughable. Aside from cost, SAP is vastly more complicated than Quickbooks, and vastly more expensive to implement. I've been in the ERP channel for decades and, while SAP is attempting to appeal to the small-medium space, they are over-priced and still intellectually vacant respective of the needs of SMBs in terms of price-performance. Of course, if they could ever get their ASP program to actually function, it might be worth a look.
Quickbooks is meant for small companies, under 20 users. No company that small is going to pay SAP's price. I've been in this market for 29 years...it's not going to happen.
