Apple Kills QuickTime For Windows, Adobe Issues Warning

Two security vulnerabilities have moved Apple to end support for QuickTime for Microsoft Windows. This has also led Adobe to issue a warning to users of its software.

Is this Sculley's concern to "keep people safe"?  It certainly was when he was fighting the FBI.  Is this his concern or revenge for having to deal with it.  All I see is hypocrasy.

Sculley? You mean Tim Cook, I assume.

And they're telling you to uninstall it. It's not like other things where they just leave it up in the air whether you're stuck with an issue without knowing what the solution is or might be. For example, Apple and their OS policy. Any idea how long I can use Mavericks on my Mac and still receive security updates? Nope, that's because they have no published policy... They just expect everyone to upgrade when they release new OSes.
