Business Objects Announces Incentive Compensation Management

New tool enables pay-for-performance planning in banking.

Business Objects has released an incentive management offering for the banking industry. BusinessObjects Incentive Compensation Management is based on the planning product acquired in the purchase of SRC Software last year and includes what-if modeling capabilities not found in Business Objects XI. By reaching out to the customer base and services expertise SRC had in banking, Business Objects is trying to increase its share of the performance management market.

Banking organizations that have investments in Business Objects should consider adding this tool to help them construct pay-for-performance compensation plans that align employees with corporate strategies. We also recommend that companies in other industries or those without investments in Business Objects consider it but also offerings from other providers like Callidus, Centive, Synygy and others that have been serving this market for many years.
