This is a significant advance on an age-old problem. I just so happened to interview a CIO using Oracle Endeca to integrate 20 disparate sources, but it took eight months to roll out the application. I have to do more research before I can say for sure it's an apples-to-apples comparison. Stay tuned for that one, but if anyone knows a thing or two and can compare consolidating access to structured, semi-structured and unstructured info using Endeca-like search technology vs. a NoSQL database, by all means share your insights.
