Siebel is also working with IBM to provide support for Web Server and App Server tiers on future versions of Siebel CRM solutions in 2005.
In making the announcement, both IBM and Siebel emphasized their belief that Linux is an enterprise-strength platform. IBM noted in a release about the announcement that "IBM and its ecosystem of business partners around the world recognize the advantages that Linux has to offer, including ease of integration, scalability, low cost and security."
