Error messages
When Walign or WinAlign run, they create a log file named WinAlign Results.txt (note the imbedded space in the file name) in the Windows System directory. The files are very similar except that WinAlign uses numbers instead of codes to indicate the error messages.
As part of its processing, WMAlign copies the log file that WAlign creates into the file WMAlign.txt in the curreent directory, so the output from both programs is the same. Here is an example of output that you will find in these files:
