IBM said those 285 2Q wins represented $262 million in total revenue, and allowed IBM to extend its leadership in the Unix market, according to statistics from both IDC and Gartner. IDC reported that over the past five years, IBM has gained 14 points of share in the Unix market, while HP has lost 4 points and Oracle-Sun has also lost 4 points, IBM said.
