Welcome To Our E2 Community

We're delighted to welcome our beloved E2 community as we integrate with our colleagues and the community members at InformationWeek.

If you're joining us here from EnterpriseEfficiency.com, let me extend a hearty welcome to our new home, InformationWeek's IT Strategy community. If you're with us because you're a longtime InformationWeek reader, we're thrilled to engage with you.

I'm Susan Nunziata, most recently director of editorial for EnterpriseEfficiency.com, one of the longest-running community sites owned by UBM Tech, InformationWeek's parent company. Joining me now on InformationWeek are my former E2 editorial colleagues Curtis Franklin and David Wagner.

We're joining forces with the accomplished InformationWeek editors and writers you've come to know and value. We look forward to engaging with all of you in the InformationWeek community, including the news writers and commentators you see here with us today on the IT Strategy page.

Together, we'll bring you more of the kinds of unique IT Strategy coverage and perspectives you've come to value on InformationWeek. We'll also join you on the comment boards to share our insights and trade stories about our experiences.

Over the next few weeks, we'll feature the CIOs, CTOs, and other IT leaders who've written and participated on EnterpriseEfficiency.com, including David Fletcher, CTO of the State of Utah; Larry Bonfante, founder of CIO Bench Coach; Andrew Froehlich, network engineer and IT consultant; and Brien Posey, former CIO. But that's not all. The InformationWeek IT Strategy community will throw open its doors and invite the rest of the C-suite into the party, discussing how technology choices impact the marketing, finance, and other departments, and how those departments are changing the way IT decisions are made.

InformationWeek has started a weekly radio show, a Q&A and chat format to which E2 community members are accustomed, and we're delighted to invite you to join us on those shows featuring a wide range of top-notch guests. You can find the InformationWeek Radio agenda for the next several weeks here.

In the meantime, our longtime E2 colleague Sara Peters, former editor in chief of the site, has joined our sister site Dark Reading, where she'll be writing about and conducting radio and video interviews on the hottest information security topics. We look forward to having Sara drop in and join us here from time to time, as well.

This is an exciting new opportunity for all of us, and we're delighted to welcome you to the beginning of a new era for our beloved E2 community as we integrate with our colleagues and the community members at InformationWeek.

Now, let's get talking. Which IT Strategy topics matter most to you? Which challenges can we help you overcome, and which questions can we help you answer as you develop your own IT strategies? We're here for you.

Our InformationWeek Elite 100 issue -- our 26th ranking of technology innovators -- shines a spotlight on businesses that are succeeding because of their digital strategies. We take a close at look at the top five companies in this year's ranking and the eight winners of our Business Innovation awards, and we offer 20 great ideas that you can use in your company. We also provide a ranked list of our Elite 100 innovators. Read our InformationWeek Elite 100 issue today.

Re: action list
@Sunita: Yes, if you log into your InformationWeek account, you'll see at the very top left of the screen, above the logo, a Welcome and next to it a clickable link that says Profile. click on Profile. You should see a screen that comes up with your pic and other details. on the right of that box, the fourth clickable link is "profile update."

Click on that and it will give you the option to change all your profile details, including your username.

I hope this helps!!

Re: Warm Welcome
@Gigi3: you're most welcome. I think we're finding the biggest challenge to be the sheer size of the site here versus e2. I feel a bit like I've moved from a small village where everybody knew me into a big bustling city where there's lots of new faces.

Easiest way to find us is to search for Nunziata, Wagner & Franklin in the search box in upper right, and you'll be able to see our most recent posts and find others in the community there.

We also encourage you to visit and get to know some of our other colleagues on the pages here--there's lots of good information and if you see something you especially like, please let us know!

Re: action list
@Nomil: So glad you were able to find a name that's close to your E2 name--some of the functionality is a bit different here in terms of setting up your profile, so let us know if you have any questions about loading your image, etc.

We're still getting settled in so we hope to have more to share in the weeks and months ahead. Meanwhile, I encourage you to check out some of the work of our colleagues as well as the E2 crew on the informationweek pages. I trust you'll find a lot of valuable info throughout the site.

Re: A new begining
@Nomil--It's so good to see you here! Sorry it took me forever to respond...it is a little confusing, InformationWeek is a much bigger place than E2, so finding us is a bit more of a challenge

You can always use the search box at the upper right (next to the logo) to see what's been written by Nunziata, Wagner & Franklin (kind of sounds like a law firm, doesn't it?).

We're still getting accustomed to things, and hope to have other options for helping you to find us.

Re: action list
@STephenJ4: Nope, it looks like you're all set up with your InformationWeek login, so you can keep on posting using this login. Though we are all sharing our E2 names just so we know who is who--did you have a different name you used at E2? BTW, as you can see, mine has changed too, Susan Nunziata is snunyc here.
