Another trend that was well underway before the pandemic was the increasing use of containers. Containerization software like Docker and Kubernetes can simplify IT management, reducing the burden on IT in a time of crisis. Containers also make it easier to move workloads from one environment to another, which can also be helpful in a disaster situation.
