These are good tips, but I'd caution against overpromising. If the candidate looks up to your CEO, that's great -- but what kind of mentorship could you really offer? And while there may be more exciting opportunities later down the road, enticing them with that possibility could backfire if they don't happen or if there's no place for the candidate in them. Selling the candidate on how this job could improve their skills and resume, however, are both tangible, immediate takeaways.
