Students Train To Fight Cybercrime

Students at the University of Tulsa are being trained to fight cybercrime.



Government agencies and companies working in areas critical to the national infrastructure can breathe easier, because the posse is on the way to help combat cybercrime.

The first class of students to be trained to fight cybercrime recently reported for class at the University of Tulsa, which received a $2,7 million federal grant to study cyberterrorism and create cybersavvy warriors for national cyberdefense. The 14 students in this first class will research technologies that can be used to protect telecom, financial, and other vital Internet-connected organizations.
