What did the newspapers do to tick Google off? The search company last week introduced another free service likely to take ads from local papers. The feature on its Froogle shopping site lets visitors type in a ZIP code and get a map of retailers selling specific products in that area, along with prices. The tool is designed to eliminate trips to a store that's out of merchandise--as well as the need to check local ads for what's on sale.
