The CMOS technology is very attractive as an RF technology because CMOS provides such advantages as low cost, high-level integration, and easy access over other technologies. Using the CMOS technology it becomes possible to integrate RF circuits, low-frequency analog circuits, and digital circuits in a single chip, which makes an ultimate one-chip system. In this manner, CMOS RF circuits are good challenges for short-range communication systems, such as Bluetooth or Wireless LAN.

This paper proposes a novel scheme for dealing with sudden bandwidth changes in TCP. The main advantages of the proposed scheme are, it can be implemented as a new phase of the TCP sender module in order to minimize the modification of the current TCP and to work with any version of TCP and it can handle both sudden increment and decrement of bandwidth. The current implementation of TCP is designed and optimized for stable networks, and does not adapt well upon sudden bandwidth changes.
