The first Tournaments PRO event called Ultimate Baseball Online 2006 will begin next month. Qualifying rounds for the tournament will take place between June 5 and 11. Each player on the winning team receives a Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP). The entrance fee is $5, and every entrant will receive an Ultimate Baseball Online 2006 t-shirt.

Netamin aims to create a virtual sports league and community. Ultimate Baseball Online 2006 will let sports fans and gamers play a virtual version of baseball in a real-time on any PC with a broadband connection. The game allows players to choose teams and build virtual players. Teams are about 5 members, divided into skill levels. Gamers view the field from a first-person perspective.
As characters play they gain experience. Points are issued to characters throughout the game. When team-players "levels up" they can use the point to buy capabilities, such as better running speed, throwing power or batting power.
