Will the SeeWhy ecosystem survive?
Take a look at those companies in the SeeWhy ecosystem pictured above. I know the customer is king and gets to decide which vendors it will work with, but somehow I don't think "real-time data source" partners NetSuite and IBM Coremetrics or "real-time action" partners Salesforce.com/ExactTarget, Oracle/Responsys, or IBM Silverpop are going to want to maintain close ties with an SAP-owned SeeWhy. There are plenty of other fish in the sea, however, and maybe SeeWhy can step up its work with SAP partner Adobe. Opinions?

What's hot? Marketing startups. See why.
I want to launch a marketing startup at the beginning of my summer vacation, sell it at the end, see how much I can make.

Re: Will the SeeWhy ecosystem survive?
I think many customers are desperate to find that single trick that helps drive more sales, and they are naturally going to look at what their competition partners with.  At this point, it's all about "here's who our customers are", but the reality is that marketing while I'd love to think is a pure science, still cannot account for all the outside factors such as brand identity, referrals, personal opinions etc.  All the marketing tools in the world cannot necessarily drive more sales, it still is about all the outside factors that affect the way a company is perceived.
