Equinix displays foresight
Equinix had a great deal of foresight in building data centers where it did, when it did. It's in an extraordinarily good position today for distributed applications, content and ecommerce.

If you put your application or maybe data center into that facility since you will be really close to Service Providers and ISPs latency will be low and probably you will get better price for the same bandwitdh. There are several additional advantages of course such as redundancy for all physical data center infrasturcture, physical security so on.
