First of all, love that you opened your center of excellence in New Orleans. It seems like an out-of-the-box choice!

My question is, how do you overcome the "CYA" aspect of reviews and decisions, such as what does and does not get into a given product cycle? Having worked and been around large and small companies, it seems like startups have much less of a culture of worrying about what one's boss' boss will think of any given decision, or the career fallout of signing off on code that ends up having a flaw.
