I doubt Jobs is rolling in his grave. He's primarily responsible for initiating these actions through his well publicized desire to obliterate Android off the face of the planet.

If it's a valid patent then Apple should defend it. If it's patent trolling then give it up. I don't know enough to judge. But HTC has options here too. Pay a license fee if warranted.

I am an Apple fan since early 90s. I personally think even if it is a valid patent, Apple should NOT go for blockade of any product. Just like MS or Oracle they could impose $10-$15 fine against each handset sold. This practice has extremely negative long-term impact on competition. Both Apple and HTC do us (consumers) a favor and try to settle their dispute without involving any regulatory bodies.
