Chris, my tough question for IT "Why is 85% of IT/telecom spend with vendors when your much more sophisticated supply chain colleagues cap operational vendor spend typically at no more than 60-65%." Vinnie Mirchandani

I did a TED talk a couple of months ago about looking at IT professionals as business partners instead of accepting them as "traditional IT". (https://www.youtube.com/watch?...

I think that a question facing business IT teams is: How do our internal and external customers view our IT department? Are we viewed as traditional, inflexible, unapproachable IT, or are we viewed as critical business partners who can add real value for the customer and for the business in general?
