re: Gaming Technology Meets Elder Care In Europe
When I read the article title a flash of trying to explain to my mother how to use the remote went through my head. Then the thought of how I would go about trying to explain how to play a video game would go, it didnG«÷t appear to be fun either way. I am all for anything that helps and relieves any form of chronic medical issues and it will be a great topic if seniors are able to keep up with ever changing face of technology.

re: Gaming Technology Meets Elder Care In Europe
Gaming has always been a great way to gain market attraction and to get people to do something they wouldn't otherwise do, simply because it makes it enjoyable to do for other reasons. I've seen this more and more lately, especially with software grants being given to gaming companies to try to get them into the medical field. It'll be interesting to see what comes out of this project, although I'm always skeptical about things with avatars as a main attraction. It would also be nice for them to use OpenCL over CUDA, as it's opensource and could create a nice following if the engage the opensource community.
