re: MOOCs Proliferate Despite Unanswered Questions
I don't see MOOCs as a revenue opportunity for most colleges either; I see them mid-term as a threat to revenue of conventional schools that have become too costly for many people. I foresee students taking a half year, year, or two years of foundational online courses at lower costs, then going to an on campus environment for two or three years to complete their education and graduate.

re: MOOCs Proliferate Despite Unanswered Questions
So far, the main thing preventing MOOCs from becoming a real threat is the shortage of self-motivated, disciplined students who can complete these courses on their own initiative.
