The most impressive point i find here is Make it discoverable, this is something which is really required but as we talk about certified report, who really will do that some company or an organization...we do have hell lot of data and reports available on internet today but confusion stands which one to refer and which fits best...

@David, other than the social media, call centers are another source whether we can collect huge data sets in order to determine customer behaviors and trends.

This is an interesting article on data analysis. Making the data understandable is the most important aspect of data analysis. It can be done using dashboards, data tables and different graphs and charts.
