What about outages?
At the beginning of the story you mention that "eLynx's survival depends on its Expedite platform reliably providing document delivery and signature capture services." How does the company reconcile that level of performance demand with the IaaS outages we've seen this year?

Different strokes for different folks
It not only speaks to avoidance of lockin but acknowledges different cloud services have different strengths. An all-Microsoft shop will prefer Azure, no matter how good Amazon gets or how open Rackspace and HP get with OpenStack. Plus, most mortgage lenders want their SaaS through a cloud center near them to minimize latencies.

Diverse cloud choices
So eLynx will work with AWS, Rackspace, HP OpenStack, and Microsoft Azure. That speaks to the continued desire of cloud service customers to avoid provider/architecture lock-in, doesn't it Charlie?
