Openmoko In The U.S. -- And Maybe In My Hands, Too

Suggested retail price for the States is $399 -- take that, iPhone! -- although there's still no talk of subsidized purchase through a service provider. Most importantly, I've been in touch with the Openmoko press people and may get a chance to look at a unit a little later in the year. This is apparently to allow a newer version of the device's software to be made available. I'll see if I can get it running on my network (T-Mobile) and report the results. « Are You An 'Emotionally Intelligent' Leader Or A Dimwit? | Main | Greener Grass In Financial Services » |
