AT&T: BlackBerry Bold Goes On Sale November 4

It is finally official. AT&T just announced that the much-delayed and long-awaited BlackBerry Bold will be available starting on Tuesday, Nov. 4. (I think there's something else important going on that day, too.)

Why AT&T picked Election Day to release the BlackBerry Bold is anyone's guess. What matters is that the BlackBerry Bold, delayed for nearly four months, will finally reach the market.

It is going to cost $300 after rebates and new two-year agreement.

Lest we forget what it can do, some key takeaways. The Bold has domestic and global 3G capabilities (including ability to use it in Japan and South Korea) via what AT&T says is the "nation's fastest 3G network and broadest international coverage footprint." It has built-in assisted GPS and Wi-Fi, and support for simultaneous voice and data. It also can access a host of AT&T's services, such as CV (cellular video), AT&T Navigator Global Edition, and AT&T Mobile Music services.

Other specs include Bluetooth 2.0, 2-megapixel camera with flash, support for microSD cards up to 16 GB, and of course RIM's famous e-mail services.
