Fandango Movie Tickets Available Via Sprint/Nextel

Users of some Sprint and Nextel mobile phones can use the Fandango movie ticketing service to obtain movie tickets and reviews through a new service launched Monday.
"Film fans can quickly get show times for movies, and receive alerts of advance ticket availability for highly anticipated films," Fandango's announcement stated. In addition to tickets, users can obtain movie reviews, show times, theater directions, and mobile alerts when tickets will be available for future movies.
As an example, users can send a film title and ZIP code as a text message to Fandango. In response, they will learn of the screening times of movies and receive information on the availability of tickets.
Fandango said it serves nearly 70 percent of U.S. theaters enabled for wireless or remote ticketing.
