A Colorado man was nursing a lost finger when it was torn off during a robbery. Also lost, an iPad he had just purchased for a friend.Unbelievable. Fifty-nine-year-old Bill Jordan was walking out of a Denver-area Apple Store when approached by a thief. Unfortunately for Jordan, he had wrapped his pinky around part of the bag containing the iPad.

The thief tugged at the bag so hard, it pulled the skin off Jordan's finger all the way down to the bone. Part of his pinky was later removed at a hospital.

Jordan had purchased the iPad for a friend who lives in Canada, where the iPad isn't available yet.

Look what happens to the poor fella for doing a friend a favor. Sheesh.

Police are looking for the suspect involved.
