SeeBeyond Technology Corp. on Wednesday said RouteOne, a financial venture owned by DaimlerChrysler, Ford, General Motors, and Toyota, has selected SeeBeyond application-integration software to simplify and standardize the credit-application process.

RouteOne's plans call for implementing SeeBeyond e-Gate Integrator platform to improve the credit application-management process for automobile dealers, customers, and financial institutions.

RouteOne is building an automated credit-application-management system that will let participating automobile dealers submit credit-application information and receive credit decisions from multiple finance sources through a single Web site. That will be significantly different than the current process, whereby dealers contact multiple finance sources in order to obtain financing for customers.

SeeBeyond's e-Gate will integrate RouteOne's Internet-based application system with financing sources' credit-decision systems. Additionally, several of SeeBeyond's e-Way Intelligent Adapters will be used to provide connections among various applications such as Oracle databases and IBM MQ Series middleware.
