With this prices, is anyone surprised that the tablet market is slowing down?

Even with the killer feature, like the SideSync thing; $400 for an 8" and $500 for a 10" tablet seems way too much.

Re: Pre-Order The Samsung Galaxy Tab S Now
The mindset of some people is that they want their devices to be as "complete" as possible. And by complete, we mean 3G or 4G compatibility, camera, WiFi, the works. Will it still be a tablet without a camera? Yes, most likely. Will it be fully functional? Of course. But it's the convenience and basically people's preferences you have to think about here.

Re: Screen adjustment
It most likely will drain the battery life, but it's something many tablet users and e-Reader users have been clamoring for a while now. So I still expect it to be a fairly popular feature.

Screen adjustment
Being able to adjust so that one can still read the screen outside in bright sunlight could make this a real replacement for a dedicated e-reader. Eric, did you see that in action? Wonder if it will kill the battery life.

Re: Pre-Order The Samsung Galaxy Tab S Now
Is a tablet really incomplete without a camera? I mean, I understand it is probably necessary for some, but I would be interested in knowing how many people use it for pictures.

I may be part of a different use case for a tablet, however. My interest in a slate is purely for the purposes of laying down and reading.

For those who wish to supplement a PC with this Samsung devices, or any other with a camera, I suppose I could see the point.
