The Xyboard 8.2 is Motorola's latest Android tablet aimed consumers, although professionals will also find it a capable device (although possibly not as capable as the 8.2's bigger brother, the Xyboard 10.1). It ships with Quickoffice and GotoMeeting productivity apps, 16 GB of memory, and a 3960-mAh battery that will play video for 6.5 hours--or offer nearly a full day's work--before needing a recharge. The Xyboard 8.2's dimensions are 8.5 x 5.5 x 0.35 inches, and it barely moves the scale at a feather-light 0.86 pounds. It will run you $429.99 with a new Verizon Wireless data contract or $599.99 at full price.
