NASA Curiosity Visual Tour: Mars, Revealed

NASA's car-like Curiosity rover beams back views from the Red Planet, revealing the most detailed depiction of Mars surface to date.

This is a 360-degree panoramic color image of Curiosity's landing site at Gale Crater. The shot is comprised of thumbnail images taken by the Mastcam. Scientists will examine the gray splotches in the foreground and shades of reddish brown around the dunes, said NASA.
