Oracle Introduces Virtual Machine Templates

Oracle has introduced a group of VM Templates, preconfigured software stacks ready for one-step deployment on Oracle VM virtual machines.The first set of VM Templates are for the company's 11g database, Enterprise Manager, and Siebel CRM 8 applications, as well as for its Enterprise Linux operating system. According to Oracle's press release, VM customers just need to copy the Templates to the Oracle VM server to get a fully installed and configured software deployment.InformationWeek, PR NewsWire via Marketwatch
