The New Zealand Ministry of Education put together a detailed set of guidelines for people looking to get started with e-portfolios. The Digital Portfolios Guidelines includes checklists, suggested timelines, recommendations for policy and numerous case studies. The list of available tools for creating an e-portfolio has changed since this doc was published, but the guidelines are still solid.
Google in the Enterprise SurveyThere's no doubt Google has made headway into businesses: Just 28 percent discourage or ban use of its productivity products, and 69 percent cite Google Apps' good or excellent mobility.
