Observe: Hacking as art. The New Museum of Contemporary Art in New York is showing Open_Source_Art_Hack both in its galleries and on its Web site.

In one installation, visitors can scan the network-security condition of servers at a business without actually accessing data.

But don't look for that one online. The museum pulled it from the site because the work violated its ISP's acceptable-use policy. It has yet to find another ISP to host the exhibit.
