BlackBerry Protect Slideshow: Mobile Data Safety for the Masses
Research In Motion's New BlackBerry Protect lets end users manage their own device for safety -- it can help you find a lost BlackBerry, protect its data, and perform backup and restore. Best of all, it's free!

On the phone, end-users must obtain a BlackBerry ID (or use one that they have; this is the new, standard way of interacting with BlackBerry now), download the app (it does require a device reboot), and then a wizard walks through the setup, where you select what gets backed up, with what frequency, and when (including wheter it's OK to do it while roaming). You can also set this up in the Protect web portal.
