At the Interop event in Las Vegas last week, I had a related conversation with someone related to analytics -- that the element of social business that had them excited was the ability to include the insights from social networks as part of the data they use to make marketing decisions, product decisions, etc. So not social per se that has them jazzed, but social as fuel for analytics.
