Intel experiences 40 percent per year growth in the Internet connection requirements. To accommodate the increasing demands that data center growth places on their network, Intel IT is converting the data center network architecture to 10 gigabit Ethernet (GbE) connections. While designing the new data center fabric, they tested several 10 GbE connection products and chose those that offered the highest quality performance and reliability.
This white paper details the benefits of the new data center fabric design; including, reduced data center complexity and TCO in a virtual environment and increased throughput and agility.
