Actually, OpenStack was a module from my own architecture for ExpertNet (called out as pilot projects for the federal agencies in the recently released US National Action Plan for OpenGov 2.0), not a module from Nebula called Nova or pinet.
OpenStack is still viable for ExpertNet, not because of anything NASA or Kemp have developed, but rather because RedHat has taken the lead with a viable product/service for the enterprise, with Oracle in hot pursuit. Liferay is another opensource module for ExpertNet. More info can be found in the recently established WH Google Group for OpenGov.
