This is just plain wrong, not because of copyright issues, but because there wasn't any Twitter in 1962, the year the series is set. Heck, it was a big deal when Sterling Cooper got a Xerox machine a few weeks ago.
Or maybe Twitter was around then. Maybe they ran it on mainframes with punchcards.
