Some rituals typical of Survivor aren't just for TV--at least, not if you work for Callidus Software in San Jose, Calif. At a March sales meeting, themed "Survivor: Outwit, Out-demo, Outsell," the company challenged workers to push themselves to the limit by eating things like sheep's hearts and beef brains. Surprisingly, all but two employees finished the challenges.
Why do it? Account exec Norman Boyd says he simply couldn't back down from such a competitive scene.
